FAYARD A/S is a privately owned company, founded by the Andersen family in 1916.

Under the leadership and ownership of the family through 3 generations, the yard has expanded from a small boat builder’s yard into a large, modern and efficient repair yard with 4 dry docks, superior cranes and plenty of quays and workshops to meet any requirements on maritime vessels, jack-ups and semi-submersibles.

Our advantageous location in the middle of Denmark on the shores of Odense Fjord, from which we have direct access to The Great Belt, keep us in close range of all vessels sailing the waters of the North European area including Scandinavia, UK, Northern Germany, the Baltic states and Benelux. Our large-scale facility and fast intervention also attract vessels from more distant waters.

We employ a skilled and experienced workforce with knowledge of all aspects within ship repair, conversions and maintenance. While the talents of our skilled employees differ, their focus remains the same: providing quick, safe and reliable service on budget, and on time.

We service vessels of major segments as RoRo, Offshore, Chemical/Product Tankers, Ferry RoPax, Container vessels, Crude Oil Tankers, General Cargo, Product Tankers, LNG and LPG Tankers, Cruise vessels, Bulkers, and Services vessels as well as Governmental vessels.

We do not service sanctioned vessels. Sanctioned vessels are rejected by our yard and we monitor the applicable sanctions and related rules on an ongoing basis.
