Here at FAYARD we are fully committed to conducting all of our activities in a responsible manner. Our business plan includes measurable HSE&Q targets and everyone who performs work of any kind in our facility is responsible to help achieve these targets.
Health and safety
The health and safety of our employees and crews of visiting vessels are of our greatest concern. It is our stated mission to establish a culture that nurtures the highest commitment to safe operations. FAYARD has set the goal of achieving zero occupational injuries and illnesses by continuously improving our prevention practices, awareness, and controls. The new FAYARD Permit to Work System is an innovative IT system that controls work permits in a completely novel and 100 per cent data-based way. It warrants that safety is always under complete control and that no employees or subcontractors’ employees are subjected to hazards at any time. The efficiency of our system allows us to simultaneously handle more than 500 PTW. Furthermore, the intuitive and responsive interface enables us to offer the world’s fastest PTW workflow. The working conditions at our facilities are kept up to date and aligned with our safety requirements as well as implemented and certified according to the ISO 45001:2018 standard. To prevent accidents, we demand a strict adherence to our safety policy.
Environmental commitment
It is our policy to ensure the optimum use of resources and to reduce the burden on the environment as much as possible through sound management, innovation, and awareness. In our attempt to run a yard that is as environmentally friendly as possible we have invested in two state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facilities. To ensure the constant environmental focus, we have implemented and are certified according to, the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
Quality is everything
At FAYARD we want our clients to leave the facility with the highest quality of work done on their asset. To ensure constant focus on keeping our high quality, we have implemented and are certified according to, the ISO9001:2015 quality system. The system covers all the processes in the yard, and it is certified by BV. Naturally, we are continuously improving our processes and systems. Speed is all – Quality is everything clearly states our priorities and the fact that we never compromise quality for speed – even though speed is one of our biggest assets.
